The Athala catamaran is one of the newest luxury boats in the Galapagos Islands and it was specifically designed to navigate in this archipelago. Her deluxe design provides ample comfortable spaces, excellent stability and meets all the latest safety standards required to navigate in international waters.
The luxury catamaran Athala offers ample facilities and amenities of a larger boat while still preserving the relaxed exclusivity of a smaller vessel; she makes a perfect boat for a private charter for your family vacation, group of friends or special interest Galapagos travel group.
All cabins on board are well decorating and perform a luxury touch, with a private bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, wall to wall carpeting. All have ocean views with large picture windows. Cabins on the Athala go from 188 to 210 square feet and the four main deck cabins have a private balcony.
The main deck also boasts the dining area and a separate comfortable lounge area complete with plasma TVs, lap tops, DVD player, stereo and library, which is a ideal space for you to relax or just watch some documentaries about the Galapagos Islands. This is also a perfect spot for your bilingual naturalist guide to perform a nightly briefing about the visits organized each day.
The upper deck has a well-stocked bar, Jacuzzi and a beautiful open teak deck area for relaxation, alfresco dining and barbeques which are organized once a week (time permitting).
The huge sundeck is great for dolphin and whale watching or to simply relax and sun bathe in your free time. At night this is the perfect place for star gazing.
The Atahala Galapagos luxury catamaran has a professional crew of 10 + 1 bilingual naturalist guide category 3. The presence of a cruise director on board makes your stay more comfortable since every single detail is taken care of, the crew is friendly and very serviceable at all times, they are very experienced and highly professional. Your guide is guaranteed to be bilingual (minimum fluent English and Spanish) and of the highest standard.
